HaloChallenges is Forerunner... HaloChallenges has been at the forefront of player challenges in Halo games for a very long time. Those of us involved with running this site are striving to make our beloved Halo games even more enjoyable by pushing things beyond the experience the game creators originally defined for us - Yep, it's cliche but we definitely think outside of the box.

- HaloChallenges has been put into cryo for an unknown duration... indefinite for sure, possibly forever...
- Players are welcome to play the challenges and continue submitting their links; games will be processed when time permits...
I've enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of the Halo Universe in a way that seems to have helped foster a great deal of fun, entertainment and participation for so many other players on XBL... Times have certainly changed a bit and demands in other arenas have determined that a shift in focus, priorities and personal interests are all necessary.
My eyes will forever be aware of the activity and excitement around the Halo Universe and if the need arises for HCh to once again serve the masses, I'll begin the process of kicking tires and lighting fires.
To all of you who have enjoyed the challenges here on HCh and even HC in our earlier days, thank you for all your support... it's been a lot of fun to see the appreciation so many of you have for quality challenges in Halo.
To all of those who have stood with me and helped build this crazy thing as part of HCh's Staff, I can't say 'thank you' enough! You've all been incredibly awesome. It's been a wild ride! One that I will always cherish and hold in very high regard. I truly believe what we've done here has gone so far beyond just giving players something else to do... I believe we inspired players to become more involved in the game and have a greater appreciation for so many aspects of these incredible works of art. What we did here even inspired the creators... That's pretty cool.
For now, I'm stepping back a bit and will begin observing the Halo Universe once again in a way that is very similar to how I was back when I first began playing Halo CE and Halo 2 around 6 years ago... As a fan. I'll be paying close attention to what 343i does with the franchise - I have utmost respect for their ability and of course huge hopes for their continued success in the upcoming trilogy.
As for challenges currently hosted on HCh - they're still very much active and I'll keep them available to play. I'll be popping in to process games as often as I can... I may even find a couple near-complete challenges to finish up and push out the door for you to play - we'll see how that goes I guess. Regardless, if you'd like to continue playing our challenges please feel free to keep submitting links. I'd only ask that you understand that it will most likely take me a bit more than the usual 24-hours to turn awards around for your player pages...

| Grifball Hub Invites You to Get Hammered! | Community Challenge: Grifball Hub
Just a couple months ago, HaloChallenges launched Hammer Time!; this was the HCh Staff's stab at producing a quality Grifball challenge... Now while that challenge is still good enough to stand on it's own, we thought we'd step it up a notch and invite the Grifball Hub Community to come in and build what they thought a Grifball Challenge should look like!
Taking the reigns of designing the challenge from start to finish, the GBH Community stepped up to the plate big time and defined an incredible set of objectives for the latest Community Challenge to be featured here on HaloChallenges.

HaloChallenges hits 7500 Players!!
- Pretty cool to see we've hit another noteworthy milestone. Thanks to everyone for your continued participation here on HCh... Players, Staff, Testers and Game Processors. You all ROCK!
- Next milestone is 10,000! Make sure you tell others about HaloChallenges and let's hit that number as quickly as possible.
Sticktoberfest Results are just about ready.- With all the craziness around HaloCharts closing down, the probability of getting the necessary results to at least announce a winner on our annual event was not looking so good... With the assistance of Firestream, we finally got our hands on the numbers...
- Stay tuned!!! Official results will be posted ASAP.
- All I can say at this point is that we had some rather impressive performers in the group. Some of you out there actually can stick it!
HaloChallenges 2.0 is in the works!! - Our friends over at 343 aren't the only ones trying to step up their game in the challenge arena... That's right, we're all over that one too!
- HaloChallenges 2.0 is already being built behind the scenes - once again, awesomeness powered by Firestream.
- The new make over will cover many aspects of the site - including game submissions, game processing, player page upgrades, forums, chat and of course, more power for carving out awesome challenges.

| End of a Really, Really Good Thing! | 
HaloCharts is where it all started... Thank you Firestream.
Unfortunately it is true that one of the greatest Halo Community sites ever has decided to close the doors and move on. So many great times and so many incredible people worked to make that site what it grew to be... HaloCharts was the birthplace of legitimate player challenges for Halo players and it was through HC's founder Firestream, that the vision and passion I had for those challenging and competitive aspects of Halo that HaloChallenges the site was able to come to life and become what it is now. Your presence in the community will be sorely missed HC! HaloChallenges is where we shall continue the fight...
While we're still brushing the dust off and wiping away the tears it's important to make sure we let everyone know that we're still here and will continue pressing forward with more challenges to enjoy. We need to rummage around a bit in some of the rubble to find a piece or two necessary for us to get back up to 100% speed but I assure you we're working to do that as quickly as possible. We hope you'll continue to hang with us and keep playing these challenges... Thanks HC! Thanks HCh! Game on!Redemption.

| So you think you're a Lone Wolf? | Community Challenge: RippinHeads.comRippinHeads dropped into HaloChallenges to help put together a challenge for that all too all-too-crafty creature, The Halo 3 Lone Wolf! This challenge is truly unique and quite demanding...
Ten total objectives in all; four tier-type objectives and six bonus objectives that will certainly take a healthy dose of skill, strategy and perhaps luck.
The challenge is to be played in Halo 3's Lone Wolf playlist of Matchmaking; however, the tiered objective sets are clearly a tip of the cap to franchise stewards, 343i.
If you think you're a Lone Wolf, this challenge should get you pumped and provide several new goals to chase after... Load up Halo 3 MM, jump into the Lone Wolves playlist and start rippin' some heads!

| ODST Firefight Returns!!! | Prepare to Drop!These two challenges have been a long time in the making - I'll blame Bungie for releasing Halo Reach when they did... Nonetheless, we've tested and prepped for these final two ODST Firefight Challenges...
Taking place on Crater (night), TURNABOUT has a lot going on with all kinds of objectives that include both precision and heavy ordinance weapons... Oh yeah, there's also an opportunity to get your pyromania fix as you attempt to get your bonus award for incinerations.
ABSOLUTE returns us to Rally - this time in the broad day light... Don't expect any relaxing walk in the parkway; the covenant are hitting hard and fast at the front gates of ONI's HQ. Required objectives on this one vary quite a bit so pay close attention to what you're killing, what you're using to kill them with and of course, watch out for the Wraith! A simple set of challenges really.... - Firefight Score Attack in Matchmaking
- Earn a minimum of 110 kills per game
- REVISION NOTE: The Score Attack Game Type kill requirement has been reduced to 95 due to the total number of possible enemies. All other game types remain at the 110 kill requirement.
- Don't die!
Nine Maps with nine objectives each... That's 81 challenges for the mathematically challenged.
